Play Dune II - The Battle for Arrakis (Europe) Online
Command your forces, gather resources, and crush your enemies as one of three Great Houses in this real-time strategy game set on Arrakis.

Dune II: The Battle for Arrakis came out on the Sega Genesis in 1994, developed by Westwood Studios. It was one of those games that quietly defined what real-time strategy could be on a console, even with the limitations of a controller. At a time when most Genesis games were action or platformers, this one asked you to think, build, and command.
You control one of three Great Houses, each with unique units and strategies, and your goal is to dominate Arrakis by crushing the opposition. You manage resource gathering by protecting spice harvesters from sandworms and enemy raids, construct buildings to unlock advanced units, and direct your forces across a dusty map divided into distinct sectors. The pace is deliberate, the difficulty steep, especially once enemy attacks intensify. It feels like conducting a slow, satisfying war from a command post, where every decision ripples across the battlefield.
