Game Overview
Power Rangers: Samurai on the DS is exactly what you'd hope for—fast, flashy, and packed with those cheesy-but-awesome Megazord transformations. You start off picking your Ranger (I went with the fire one because, well, flaming sword), and then it’s straight into slicing up weird bug monsters with symbol attacks. The touchscreen lets you swipe these kanji symbols to pull off special moves, which feels way cooler than just button mashing.
Team attacks are the real highlight though—you can combo with the other Rangers mid-fight, and yeah, the Megazord battles are as ridiculous and over-the-top as the show. The camera zooms out, your tiny Rangers merge into a giant robot, and suddenly you’re punching a skyscraper-sized monster in the face. It never gets old.
Fair warning: it’s not super deep, but if you just want to feel like a Power Ranger for a few hours, this nails it. The music even has that classic "Go Go Power Rangers" energy.
